Best Start Family Hubs are welcoming spaces for families with children and young people from birth to 19 (and up to 25 with SEND). They offer free activities, expert advice, and practical help, from pregnancy through to school and beyond. In all eight Family Hubs across Bolton, there are professionals on hand including Family Hub Practitioners who can support you with everything from child development and learning to housing and financial advice, helping you to connect with the right services at the right time. They aim to work in partnership with schools and other community organisations to ensure families feel supported, connected and empowered.
Please let families know that currently we are running FREE sessions at all Family Hubs across Bolton:
- Baby, Babble, and Bond: supporting early communication and bonding for babies and their parents/carers
- Chat, Play, and Read: fun, interactive sessions to encourage early language and the love of reading
- Family Fun Time: after-school sessions where families can enjoy quality, time together through play and activities
