Ethos & Value Statement
Our school ethos is welcoming to all, caring and harmonious. It is built on the firm belief that every child can succeed and their achievements and individual talents must be nurtured, developed and celebrated throughout their school career. It is our ambition, in partnership with our whole school community, to actively promote our vision of an inclusive, vibrant learning community that values diversity and challenges any kind of discrimination and where every child is valued for their individuality.
Following consultation with our school community, we decided together that our shared values are:

Professional, collegial support
The school council, in consultation with all classes also recently added their thoughts to this work and decided that their shared values for school life are:
- Harmony
- Honesty
- Bravery
- Empathy
- Peace
They then decided to write poems for each school value, which are now displayed around school to remind everyone of how we want our school to be and the part we all play in achieving this.
